One Final Update
It has been a while since my last update, and this may be my last one. I am excited to share with you what God has been working in over the last three months, how He has been very present and how He is carrying me into my future.
To Him be the glory, Amen.

Bitter (and) Sweet
This update is a little different from the previous ones. For me this update is truly bittersweet.
Life is changing quickly for me again and their are some major changes on the horizon. Take a look inside and see what is happening in the coming months.

ONE
One WHOLE year.
In just 9 short days, I will celebrate my one year Nica-versary!
There is a lot to reflect on in my first year here. For now, let me update you on this past month. These past four weeks have flown by and been full with work and getting ready for our first office interns (and fellows).
April Update
It has been a busy (good busy) last couple of weeks. I have a car, have settled on a church home and went on my first project trip as EMI staff.

March Update
The months blog post gives exciting updates on the car search and praises on community and project work at EMI!
February Update
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” - Psalm 19:1 -
This month has been busy with work - a welcomed and wonderful change. I also got to hang out with some friends and make some new ones.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year!
Before every new year, I reflect on all that has happened in the past year, and this year was a record for me. But, in all of it God was faithful. Updates this month include projects & work, my Christmas vacation and house projects…so, take a look inside!

November Update
Happy Summer!
I can’t believe that it is almost December. While many of you are experiencing changing seasons, temperature drops and even snow, we have entered into summer and also the coolest 2-3 months of the year!

October Update
Another month has gone by, and it is crazy to think that next month will mark 6 months of living here in Nicaragua. While there are not any major life updates, I will be headed home for a week to celebrate my grandmothers life and to spend time with family.

September Update
There really are not any major updates – my health has finally stabilized, the church search continues and the car search is slow and steady (but good). So, I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some things that God has been teaching me over the last four months – finding joy in the daily interruptions and the power of prayer.

August Update
“Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness, My God, that is who Your are (Leeland, 2019).”
August blog includes updates on my health (miracle worker), border run (way maker), car and ‘a day in the life of…’. I want to share with you what a typical day for me looks like - a way to bring you into my world a bit.

July Update!
These past six weeks I attempted to settle in to new rhythms for work and life. Some health challenges interrupted that process, but thanks to a God who heals, I am back to feeling normal. While there are not many major updates, I do have an adventure on the horizon. Read more to find out!

One Whole Month
The last month has been packed full - meeting new team members, traveling locally, meeting my host family and spending two weeks with them, finding an apartment, adopting a dog, finding a potential car, work and visiting several churches.

2 Weeks until Mobilization!
The next two weeks (12 1/2 days actually) will be packed with to do lists, packing, details and hard goodbye’s. And yet, in two weeks I will get to meet most of my team (the image above) in person!

Airplane Tickets Purchased!
Airplane tickets have been tentatively purchased for May 16th! But, I am still short on monthly support.

Six Weeks till Launch
These last few months have been caught up in a whirlwind of life changes. The previous chapter has closed and the new chapter has begun. Six weeks left until my goal to launch into ministry overseas!

3 W E E K S
3 weeks left.
3 weeks left to raise 32-40% of monthly support.
3 weeks left to tie up loose ends and rent my house.
MPD Progress
I wanted to provide a quick update on how my ministry partner development (and support) is going.
In this ministry partnership, my desire is to have everything that I do and every step that I take be covered in prayer. I would also like the opportunity to be praying for you and your family.
For my prayer request, please check out the most recent blog post.
